The finish is the part you see. Preparation decides whether it still looks right in ten years.

Preparation & levelling in Newcastle and the Hunter

Most floor failures start in the slab, not the board. Moisture, cracks, contamination and an uneven substrate cause cupping, drumming, peaking joins and declined warranty claims. None of them show up on a sample board.

We test and record before we price. Then we grind, treat and level to the tolerance your flooring manufacturer specifies, so the floor goes down flat and the product warranty stays intact.

What's included

  • Documented moisture testing before a price is fixed
  • Dust-free grinding with on-tool extraction
  • Crack classification and treatment
  • Precision laser levelling and self-levelling compounds
  • Old adhesive, coatings and contamination removed to a sound bond surface
  • Flatness checked against the manufacturer's tolerance

Good for

Slab-on-ground homes · Renovations over old floors · Commercial fit-outs · Rectification work
